We will encourage the provision of classes, for example in art and ceilidh dancing. We will also host formal occasions such as wedding receptions and funeral or memorial services.  4.2 The advancement of heritage: We will host talks on local history and exhibitions of historic images, artwork and artifacts relevant to the local area. We will also seek to maintain and modernise the building in keeping with its architectural style.  4.3 The advancement of citizenship and community development: We will encourage the use of the Town Hall as a centre for civic participation and community development in line with its traditional role as the home of the Town Council and latterly the Community Council. To that end we will host public meetings and exhibitions relevant to the development of the community, in cooperation with Coupar Angus Community Council and Perth and Kinross Council. We will also seek to provide facilities and amenities that meet the needs and aspirations of local people as expressed in local community plans based on community consultation.  4.4 The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. Examples might include bingo teas, children\u2019s parties, entertainment for senior citizens.
