Objectives: The organisation's purposes are to benefit the community of KA5 postcode and surrounding areas by: the advancement of education particularly around organic food growing, cooking and preserving. the prevention or relief of poverty by providing those in need with fresh, nutritious food, including supporting local foodbanks. the advancement of health both mental and physical by facilitating and supporting access to gardening opportunities, and other community events and contributing to improved diet through increased access to, and availability of, fresh local produce. the advancement of citizenship or community development providing volunteering opportunities and promoting rural regeneration and the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational facilities by creating opportunities for the community to come together around healthy food and reconnect with nature. the advancement of environmental protection or improvement by following permaculture principles, planting native species, capturing rain water, composting, sourcing materials locally and reusing/reclaiming items where possible.
