Objectives: The Organisation has been formed to benefit the ethnic minority community of Tamil language speakers in Scotland and the wider UK (the “Community”), with the following purposes (the “Purposes”): The advancement of education - To advance science, engineering and technology education among the ethnic minority community. To provide mentoring, training and examination of persons in the profession as well as continuing professional development of its members. The advancement of the arts, heritage, culture - Undertake activities to preserve, promote and pursue ethnic arts, heritage and culture. The promotion of equality and diversity – Provide a forum for the community to meet informally and discuss issues and challenges including gender inequality they face at work through networking events.
