Objectives: 3.1To assist owners of Spaniels who are experiencing difficulties with the intention of enabling the Spaniel to stay with the owner. This may entail the services of a behaviourist or giving of advice. 3.2To foster/rehome Spaniels when the owners can no longer manage their dog for whatever reason. This entails carrying out home-checks. organising transportation. organising temporary fostering. rehabilitation. behaviourist input. obtaining health-checks. vet input and finding the right home for each dog surrendered to UK Spaniel Rescue 3.3 For the benefit of the public to promote humane behaviour towards animals by a) helping to provide appropriate care, protection, treatment and security for Spaniels which are in need of care and attention and b) by educating, raising awareness and informing the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among animals in particular of Spaniels in rescue in the United Kingdom 3.34 For the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering of animals in need of care and attention in particular by also supporting those providing rescues for the reception, care and treatment of Spaniels.
