**Purposes:** 'the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended','the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage'

**Objectives:** The aims of the group are to relieve the need and promote the welfare of those with a Learning Disability who attend Milldale Day Opportunities, their families and Carers.  In futherance thereof, but not otherwise, the group shall seek: a - to promote social, cultural, educational and recreational activities to the benefit of those without distinction of sex, or political, religious, or other opinions. b - to promote empowerment and ability by involving members in the decision making process of the group as a whole. c - to support group members, other parents and Carers by providing a network for the exchange of information and ideas without prejudice.
