Objectives: 4.1 To promote the heritage and culture of the islands of South Ronaldsay and Burray to residents and visitors to the islands through the restoration and preservation of historic buildings, sites and monuments including The Tomb of the Eagles in South Ronaldsay alongside the display or information, interpretation and artefacts relating to sites and monuments. 4.2 To promote access to educational experiences about the unique culture, history and heritage of the islands of South Ronaldsay and Burray to residents and visitors to the islands through the provision of historical and cultural information, interpretation and guiding around sites and monuments such as The Tomb of the Eagles. 4.3 The advancement of community development through consultation and engagement with the community in the development and delivery of community-based projects aimed at improving facilities and opportunities for the residents of the islands of South Ronaldsay and Burray and the wider Orkney community. 4.4 To provide, extend and enhance recreational and cultural opportunities for residents of the islands of South Ronaldsay and Burray, and visitors to the islands, that support community engagement and community cohesion such as, for example, making improvements to local playparks and community gardens and outside spaces, developing walking routes and active travel opportunities.
