**Objectives:** 4 The organisation’s purposes are:- (a) The advancement of health by provision of public access to defibrillators and emergency life support training using the latest Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines focusing on the Chain of Survival to enable recognition of an emergency, calling 999 and provision of basic life support and early defibrillation.  (b) The saving of lives by provision of public access deliberators and encouraging community engagement to develop resilience in remote areas of Scotland where emergency help is not immediately available. (c) The advancement of education by all instructors undertaking current, research based Resuscitation Council (UK) instructor training. Implementing updated resuscitation guidelines as appropriate. Involvement in research such as “Aftercare for Survivors, Family And Rescuers” in partnership with other agencies.
