Objectives: The organisation’s purposes are: (a) The prevention or relief of poverty (f) The advancement of citizenship or community development (h) The advancement of public participation in sport (i) The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended (n) The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage We will fulfil our purposes by: (a) Encouraging and developing participation in amateur sport at a local level, especially football, but also offering free and inclusive opportunities that create positive change in individuals and the communities they live in. (b) Encouraging and supporting young people and disadvantaged communities to improve their health and wellbeing by engaging in sports, physical and recreational activities and social groups, enabling them to learn new skills, develop existing skills and engage in volunteering opportunities. 3 (c) Providing Developing our offering by consulting the community and delivering positive and structured activities that give them a sense of community belonging and help mitigate local priorities, such as social isolation, financial constraints or lack of opportunity and positive destinations. (d) Providing access our Clubrooms to be used as a community facility by other community groups, e.g. providing drop-ins and group sessions for older people, local youth and other community-led initiatives. (e) Providing access to our Clubrooms as a venue for local sports groups identified by our participation in the Lochee Community Sports Hub.
