The advancement of citizenship and community development: To foster civic responsibility and community participation by encouraging voluntary activity, promoting civic values, and supporting the active involvement of Enugu State citizens in public life and community initiatives in Scotland. The relief of those in need: To provide welfare support, advice, and assistance to individuals in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship, or other disadvantage, particularly focusing on members of the Enugu community in Glasgow and surrounding areas. The advancement of education: To promote education through skills development programmes, training opportunities, research initiatives, and capacity-building activities that benefit both members of the Organisation and the wider public. The advancement of arts, culture, and heritage: To preserve and promote Igbo and Wawa cultural heritage in Scotland by organising cultural events, language classes, traditional dance lessons, and other activities that enhance cultural understanding and appreciation. The advancement of human rights, conflict resolution, and community safety: To raise awareness of legal rights, child protection, domestic abuse prevention, good parenting practices, and community relations, fostering a safer and more informed community for Enugu State citizens living in Glasgow and beyond.
