**Purposes:** &#x27;the advancement of education&#x27;

**Objectives:** 1 The organisation&#x27;s purposes are:  (a) the advancement of education. - to equip schools in Scotland with financial education lessons, designed to enable young people to learn essential money management skills and improve financial literacy. - to provide as many young people as possible with effective and lasting lessons in financial management with the goal of achieving a future where they are equipped with the financial capability of making responsible financial choices as adults. - to empower young people by helping pupils to understand key themes including the benefits of saving, budgeting, borrowing money, credit and debit cards and the improvement their money management skills. - to operate a weekly saving scheme in schools for students aged from 5 to 11 to facilitate money management skills. - to engender in young people a healthy relationship with money. - to collect and disseminate information gathered as part of the school programme for the continual improvement and further advancement of the financial education. - to support, manage and arrange any demonstrations, exhibitions, lectures, courses and other materials so as to provide and facilitate the education of children about financial management and its impact.
