Objectives: (a) To encourage the advancement of citizenship, we aim to do this by: (i) Promoting civic values for the good of the community. our activities will include: (ii) Providing a range of social and leisure activities and develop peer support networks, designed to improve the quality of life, reduce isolation and loneliness and keep people over the age of 55, independent and active in the community. (b) To provide opportunities for people over the age of 55 to challenge the stigma of ageing in our society, by the education of the general public, influential individuals and relevant organisations on matters relating to the social welfare of older people. (c) Building partnerships and working with other organisations to develop joint working to maximise the benefit of the support offered. (d) The organisation will also promote and engage volunteers to offer a sense of purpose and reduce social isolation, as well as support the organisation in the delivery of services.
