Objectives: The organisation’s purposes are: I. Sport: To advance public participation in sport by providing inclusive access to physical skills and physical exertion activities. II. Education: To advance physical education and development of children, young people and adults by offering sports-based coaching, learning, and training programmes. III.  Heritage: To advance heritage by preserving, promoting, and interpreting the history and legacy of Melrose Rugby and the sport of seven-a-side rugby for community and the wider public benefit. IV. Community Development: To promote community development and wellbeing within Melrose and the wider Eildon catchment area by supporting collaboration among local groups to articulate and establish sports and activity needs thereby contributing to healthier, more connected communities and the development of skills for employment for all ages.  V. Facilities: To develop recreational facilities for all individuals, including those who are male, female, or identify otherwise, and those who may be disadvantaged in their ability to take part in physical activity, by offering a modern, fit-for-purpose premises.
