The purpose for which the Church is formed is to be the new legal form of the Scottish Charity currently operating and known as Harper Memorial Baptist Church (Scottish Charity SC007188) which exists for the promotion of Christ's kingdom through evangelism, teaching, preaching and social action. The charitable purpose of the Church for the purposes of the Act is the advancement of the Christian religion for the public benefit.
