Activities

'It carries out activities or services itself'

'the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended','the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage'

ASNsory Crew is a charity set up to support children with additional support needs and their families by providing safe, inclusive spaces where they can play, socialise and feel accepted. Many of the children we support struggle to access mainstream play environments, so we create sensory-friendly sessions that allow them to explore, regulate and be themselves without judgement. We run stay-and-play sessions using specialist sensory toys, soft play and accessible equipment designed to support different sensory needs. Our sessions also give parents and carers the chance to connect with others who understand the challenges of raising a child with additional needs. We are currently working towards opening our own permanent premises, which will include a purpose-built sensory room and facilities designed specifically around the needs of the children and families we support.

Objectives: the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended, the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage
