TRUSTEES REPORT
We have been progressing our Community Asset Transfer (CAT) and Lease of the premises we operate from with Moray Council. This will give us ownership of the site and nursery garden, the paperwork has been completed and submitted and we are pleased to say that as there has not been a CAT request submitted by any other party we have received agreement in principle to the transfer and await the finalisation of the terms of the Lease which is expected to be approved for a 25 year period at a peppercorn rent of £1 per annum. The council required us to set up this new SCIO to accommodate the CAT and our application for the SCIO was approved by OSCR on 21° January this year.
We have also had approval granted by OSCR for the winding up of our former Charity, Forres in Bloom (SC036949) and the members of which agreed at an EGM on 17" September to this being done and to the transfer of all its Assets and Liabilites to our new SCIO, aiming for this to take place at the end of their current financial year end of 30 September 2025.
We are also progressing a planning application for the installation of solar panels at the site, a matter which has been ongoing with the former charity for some time.
Reserves policy
Our aim will be to maintain cash reserves sufficient to cover one year’s running costs as well as any unforeseen costs which may arise in the year.

FINANCIAL REPORT
=here are no Income and Expenditure nor Balance Sheet figures to be preparea at this point, this is because that whilst we have been incorporated since January this year no financial transactions taken place, everything so far was under the auspices of the former Forres in Bloom charity.
We have set our own financial year to be 1 October to 30" September to match the former charity and in line with the aforementioned transfer of Assets and Liabilites agreed to at the EGM, the cash and Bank balances of Forres ir Bloom at 30" September of £57,680 and £67 respectively have subsequently been transferred over to our SCIO on 1 October.
