Tariki Trust was registered as a Buddhist charity with the Charity Commission for England and Wales in 2011 and OSCR in 2025. We offer training courses and workshops, mostly related to therapeutic practice underpinned by Buddhist teachings. Our biggest offering (Ten Directions training course in ecotherapy) is based on Other-Centred Therapy, an approach grounded in Buddhist Psychology. We also currently offer two free/donation-based online Buddhist groups facilitated by experienced practitioners, including a Buddhist Priest, and hold nature-connection retreats in our Scottish woodland, some offered on a donation basis, which explore our relationship to the planet and the ecosystem. (Interdependence with the planet/universe is a major concern in Buddhism.) Our ecotherapy programmes connect people with nature for the wellbeing of human beings and the planet as a whole and we regularly teach the ways in which Buddhist ideas can promote a healthier relationship with the planet.

Objectives: The trustees shall hold the trust fund and its income upon trust to apply them for the advancement of the Buddhist religion (Dharma).
