River Church Aberdeen is set up with the purpose of advancing the Christian religion. This goal is achieved through regular ongoing services provided by the church on Sundays and throughout the course of the week. These services are a gathering point for prayer, worship, teaching and preaching as the church community is knitted together in deepening relationship with God and one another. These gathering times are open to anyone who wishes to attend. The church also engages in regular outreach programs to the local community, the city of Aberdeen and beyond. This ranges from engaging in evangelism, organising holiday clubs, taking part in united church events in the city, equipping and training in various forms of ministry as well as itinerant ministry to other church congregations up and down the UK. River Church Aberdeen is a vibrant, multiethnic, worshipping community, dedicated to sharing the gospel of the kingdom of God and the love of Jesus Christ with all. In so doing the
Objectives: River Church Aberdeen purposes are: a) to advance the Christian religion, all for the public benefit. b) to operate within the city of Aberdeen and beyond. c) to deliver its activities and operations to individuals through the preaching and outworking of the Christian Gospel.
