Objectives: 4 The Club’s purposes are to preserve the Kate Kennedy Procession in the town of St. Andrews, including, without limitation, by: (a) maintaining the traditions of the University of St Andrews and the town of St. Andrews. (b) upholding and improving Town and Gown relations. (c) organising and undertaking an annual procession in the town of St. Andrews involving the use and display of a collection of historical and educational assets (in the ownership of The Kate Kennedy Trust) for the benefit of the public. (d) working with The Kate Kennedy Trust and the Kate Kennedy Life Members Association so as to further the purposes of the Club. and (e) engaging in any other purposes ancillary to (a) to (d) above. The Club will also raise money to provide grants to local charities with the following purposes: (i) the prevention or relief of poverty. (ii) the advancement of education. (iii) the advancement of citizenship and community development. (iv) the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science. and (v) the relief of those in need.
