Starpic Project is established to advance citizenship and community development, promote social inclusion, and support the wellbeing and development of children, young people, adults, and families in Edinburgh. We achieve this by delivering a range of regular youth and community activities in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. These include weekly youth club sessions, school holiday programmes, and the provision of food and snacks for young people. We also run weekly community groups, including a women’s group, men’s group, and toddler group, providing opportunities for social connection, peer support, and personal development. In addition, we operate a community café three days per week, which serves as a community hub and provides volunteering opportunities that help individuals gain experience, develop skills, and build confidence.
