Activities

'the advancement of citizenship or community development','the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended'

Our main aim is to provide a focal point for our rural village, encouraging social activities to build community. We act as a vital hub for the community, hosting a wide variety of events and activities. The Hall remains central to village life as it has for over 125 years, providing a gathering place. Our trustees and volunteers facilitate a wide range of community events from ceilidhs to birthday parties to film nights to bingo fundraisers and funeral teas. The Hall will also provide a local hub and resilience centre in times of inclement weather and is a refuge point for our local primary school and pre-school setting.
