Forth Bridges SCIO was established to support local communities through fundraising, volunteering and community projects that promote health and wellbeing, relieve poverty, strengthen community connections and improve local amenities. Formed by former members of the dissolved Forth Bridges Rotary Club, the organisation continues a long tradition of community service across West Fife and surrounding areas. We achieve our charitable purposes by organising events and activities which raise funds for local causes and encourage community participation. These include the Dalgety Bay 10K, community fundraising events and educational talks. Funds raised support local charities and groups, including foodbanks, children’s clothing banks and projects supporting people experiencing financial hardship. We also work with partner organisations to improve community spaces and amenities for public benefit.

Objectives: (a) The prevention or relief of poverty. (b) To provide services to people who have need of them by reason of their age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage by signposting them to additional support services.
