The foundation has been set up in memory of Murray Sharp. Murray was a great supporter of up-and-coming young sports people. They were golfers mainly, which was a great passion in his own life. Murray also supported rugby clubs with direct sponsorship, including his local club, Birkmyre Rugby Club, where he also played. The company that he drove to such great success, Kooltech are sponsors of Glasgow Warriors. We believe in giving young people the opportunity to create a better future for themselves through the experiences that can be gained through sport. Objectives: 3. The purposes of the SCIO are:- (i) to promote for the public benefit such charitable purposes and/or charitable objects as the Trustees in their absolute discretion think fit, from time to time. and (ii) to promote similar charitable purposes, objects or institutions in such proportions and manner as the Trustees think fit.
