Lochmaben Golf Club SCIO is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation whose purpose is the advancement of public participation in sport. In furtherance of this, the club maintains and manages the golf course and clubhouse at Lochmaben, works with other agencies to promote and develop the sport of golf, and provides affordable membership for all who wish to play golf. The club also promotes golf for junior members as a valuable community amenity, welcoming participants regardless of gender, age, race, religion, disability or sexual orientation. Day-to-day management is carried out by elected trustees and paid staff, supported by a large number of volunteers who assist with competitions, events and the running of the club throughout the year.

Objectives: 4 The organisation’s purposes are: The advancement of public participation in sport. And in furtherance of above it shall do the following: Maintain and manage the golf course and clubhouse at Lochmaben. Work together with other agencies to promote and develop the sport of golf within the club. Provide affordable membership for all who wish to partake in the game of golf and promote golf for Juniors as a valuable community amenity.
