We preserve and display the history of Halkirk and surrounding area. We open our centre 2 - 3 afternoons a week from Easter to October. Entry is by donation to allow all to have the ability to visit, as many times as they would like. Most will offer a donation if they can afford to do so. We welcome local visitors and those from around the world. We advertise in various publications and locations. We attend the Halkirk Highland Games to publicise our centre to a wider local audience. We hold monthly family history sessions, which are run by two knowledgeable Trustees for local people to learn more about their family history and also the history of their/local houses. We accept and encourage private visits all year round, and we have had several school visits over the time we have been open.

Objectives: The organisation's purposes are: To preserve the character, history, and traditions of the village of Halkirk and the parish of Halkirk. To preserve the character and history of vintage motors and associated memorabilia.
