The charity was governed by the following trustees during the reporting period: 


The trustees are responsible for the governance and strategic direction of the charity and for ensuring that it operates in line with its charitable purposes and applicable regulatory requirements. 

## **Charitable purposes** 

thrive was established for, 

The provision of recreational facilities or the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. 

The charity’s purposes are intended to primarily benefit community members living in West Lothian, Scotland. 

## **Activities and achievements during the year** 

During the reporting period, the charity undertook limited activity. 

The trustees engaged in consultation work with village and community groups in West Lothian, with the aim of understanding local needs and exploring potential future charitable activity aligned with the charity’s purposes. 



In addition, trustees and volunteers supported events in Blackridge. These activities involved volunteer time only, and no payments were made or received in relation to these activities. 

The trustees consider this activity to be preparatory and supportive in nature, helping to maintain community connections while longer-term plans are considered. 

## **Financial review** 

There were no financial transactions during the reporting period. 

- The charity received no income 

- The charity incurred no expenditure 

- No funds were held or spent on charitable activities 

- The charity’s bank account remained dormant throughout the year 

As a result, no receipts and payments account has been prepared for this period. 

## **Plans for future periods** 

The trustees intend to continue reviewing the charity’s capacity, community need, and future direction during the next reporting period. This will include consideration of whether and how charitable activities may recommence in a manner consistent with the charity’s purposes. 

## **Trustees’ responsibilities and approval** 

The trustees confirm that this report has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and associated regulations.
