in advancing its charitable purposes for public benefit. The charity
continued to operate as a community-led media and cultural platform,
delivering multilingual radio broadcasting, podcasts, and digital content
that amplified under-represented voices, particularly people of African and
Caribbean heritage and other marginalised communities in Scotland.
The charity successfully delivered education and training activities in
broadcast and audiovisual media, including radio presenting, audio
production, podcasting, and digital storytelling.
These activities were provided through workshops, mentoring, and
practice-based learning, supporting participants to develop creative and
transferable skills, increase confidence, and progress towards
volunteering, further education, or employment within the creative
industries.
The trustees confirm that, during the financial period, Jambo! Radio SCIO
carried out its activities in furtherance of its charitable purposes and for the
public benefit, in line with the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland)
