**What the charity does:** Friends of Queen Margaret Hospital raise funds to relieve the needs of patients and staff attending and working in the Hospital and West Fife. Fundraising events foster and maintain the public interest in the welfare of patients and staff. We liaise and work with other relevant bodies for the benefit of the hospital. The funds raised through craft work and donations provide extra comforts and amenities for the patients and staff.

**Objectives:** Purposes   4 The organisation is a non-profit distributing charity whose principal objective is  4.1 to relieve the needs of patients and former patients of the Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline, and generally to support the charitable work of the said Hospital.  4.2 Encouraging and maintaining the interest and involvement of the public in the wellbeing of the community by linking health and social care services with the local population. 5 In furtherance of the purposes, the organisation may, in its purpose i) To foster and maintain public interest in the welfare of patients and staff, and to support the work of the Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline. To co-operate with other relevant bodies, for the benefit of the Hospital.
