**What the charity does:** Kilmallie Community Fridge and Garden provides a community larder reusing short-dated supermarket food to help stretch household budgets and minimise food waste. It also has a community garden to promote local sustainable food systems and offers activities and training to local people to embed community resilience and wellbeing.

**Objectives:** 4 The organisation’s purposes are: a) The prevention and/or relief of poverty to people resident in the Kilmallie Community Council area of Lochaber by providing access to produce and products that help improve living standards. b) The advancement of citizenship and/or community development to people resident within the Kilmallie Community Council area of Lochaber by providing training, activities, support and a social environment that promotes volunteering and helps bring about improvements in the quality of life for the whole community.  c) The advancement of environmental protection and/or improvement within the Kilmallie Community Council area by: the systematic collection, distribution and reuse of food waste: the promotion and provision of sustainable food systems through a community garden and, the general promotion of sustainable management of natural resources.    d) The advancement of education by providing courses and workshops on healthy eating, food waste awareness, gardening skills and techniques, and any other subject related to the activities of the community fridge and garden.
