Duns Fair Share has three main areas of activity: i) Duns Food Bank which provides emergency food support to individuals and families across Berwickshire. ii) Duns Community Larder – a green initiative, making good quality, surplus food available to anyone in Duns for a nominal sum. iii) Duns Social Café – an inclusive, pay as you feel café that sells hot drinks and snacks and provides free WIFI. We offer numerous volunteering opportunities, promote community wellbeing and help tackle loneliness.

Objectives: (a) The relief of poverty In furtherance Duns Fair Share will: • continue the work of Duns Food Bank (b) The relief of those in need In furtherance Duns Fair Share will: • promote an inclusive community that caters for all needs • provide a resilience service to the community • promote community wellbeing and tackle loneliness (c) The advancement of citizenship and community development In furtherance Duns Fair Share will: • promote volunteering opportunities within the community • adopt a 'green' approach that helps sustain the local environment • promote an all-inclusive approach for the development of the community
