The charitable purpose of the Club is to provide facilities for engaging in Dinghy and Cruiser Sailing and Racing, encouraging social activity of people, to meet and participate in a common venture. Nairn Sailing Club provides a range of activities to support its purposes, including sailing events such as dinghy sailing sessions with support vessels, cruiser racing and a schedule of social events. All activities and events are open to members and their guests, and the club occasionally invites non members to events, such as interesting talks in the Clubhouse e.g. Coastguard Presentation, Cold Water Shock Talk. Since April 2024 we have run two full seasons of Cruiser Racing, during Summer 2025 six Dinghy Sessions were scheduled with a growing number of participants. We have also had more than 15 Social Events, BBQs, Quiz Nights and site visits to local Search & Rescue Centre and Haventus Port, which is being redeveloped for the Offshore Wind Industry.

Objectives: 4 The purposes of the organisation are: 4.1 The advancement of the public participation in water sports. 4.2 The provision of recreational and social facilities and/or organising recreational and social activities, available to the public at large, with the object of improving the condition of life.
