**What the charity does:** To provide accommodation for retired ministers, missionaries and other Christian workers.

**Beneficiaries:** &#x27;Other defined groups&#x27;

**Objectives:** 2 (a) The objects of the Association shall be to carry on for the benefit of the community the business of providing housing and any associated amenities for persons retired from full time Christian ministry in the UK or abroad (and their dependants respectively) who are or have been connected to the FIEC, the EFCC or to any Grace Baptist church, group or association and are in need of such housing, and who are in agreement with the Statement of Faith set out at Schedule 1. The provision of such housing shall take account of the spiritual, emotional, relational and financial needs of the Association&#x27;s beneficiaries, insofar as it is possible to do so, with the aim of ensuring that those beneficiaries can continue to maintain Christian fellowship and church support into older age.  (b) Throughout these Rules &#x27;charitable&#x27; means charitable in accordance with the law of England and Wales provided it does not include any purpose which is not charitable in accordance with Section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, or any statutory modification or re-enactment thereof for the time being in force. (c) For the avoidance of doubt, the system of law governing these Rules is the law of England and Wales.
