Over the past year, the Ukrainian Cultural Centre has served as a vital sanctuary and vibrant hub for the Ukrainian community in Glasgow. We hold weekly Saturday meetings for Ukrainian displaced people and local community. The meetings includes art workshops, celebration of Ukrainian traditions and cultural events, volunteering work in partnership with other local charity organisations, excursions, mental health and wellbeing classes for adults and language classes for children. Beyond internal cultural preservation, the Centre has been an active force in local civic life, fostering deep connections with the wider Scottish community. These initiatives have had a profound positive impact, building lasting connections and integration into the society and successfully popularising the rich tapestry of Ukrainian culture throughout the region.

Objectives: The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1 To promote and advance Ukrainian culture traditions and heritage 4.2 To promote racial harmony by helping the Ukrainian community integrating into a wider Scottish society. 4.3 To raise awareness of the human and civil rights of Ukrainian People.
