Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of This was the first year of having the local SCIO to develop the community the charity during the financial period outreach of Life Church Edinburgh, which is a locally managed part of the Apostolic Church UK national charity (registered in Scotland under SC037835). There have been issues in being able to open a bank account due to restrictions from national banks and availability of local branches. This means that the opportunity to access specific funding for the SCIO has not been possible, therefore no activity has taken place directly under the banner of Life Community Edinburgh. Life Church Edinburgh continued to support activities that will be expanded through the SCIO, as detailed here: Community Support Meals Meals provided on 53 occasions through the year, with around 2,500 meals made available to participants. Funded by Life Church, Soul Food, and Individual Donors. Grants required to fully fund it. Managed through Life Church/ACUK accounts but development of this requires full operation through Life Community Edinburgh Student Support The weekly meal provision continues. Students benefit from full inclusion and support according to need, plus volunteering opportunities. Regular term time activities held on Monday evening, Wednesday morning and evening, and Friday mornings. One activity run in conjunction with Christians in Sport Elderly Support Other than generic church support, this is a work in progress with the best option to develop this through Life Community Edinburgh. Continued connection with local elderly sheltered housing and medical centre. One person meaningfully supported.

The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) 2005 Act and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (as amended). The charity trustees |

My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the |

| consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeks | |
| explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken | |
| do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and, consequently, I do | |
