OaKley ASN is dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people with additional support needs (ASN) and their families. We provide a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child can access opportunities for play, learning, and development tailored to their individual needs. Through a mix of specialist support, sensory spaces, play-based approaches, and family engagement, we focus on building confidence, social connection, and wellbeing. Our purpose-built facility offers respite, nursery sessions, therapies, and group activities designed to reduce isolation and promote inclusion. We work closely with families, professionals, and the community to ensure every child is seen, supported, and celebrated.
Objectives: a) to improve the lives of children and young people with additional support needs and their families through the provision of educational and recreational facilities and activities and, in particular but not exclusively, in furtherance of this purpose, to maintain and develop at Inverlochy Road, Chapelton of Elsick, a purpose-built play and resource centre for indoor and outdoor play. b) To provide care, respite, support, fun and friendship to all the children, young people, parents and carers who use the services of OaKley. c) To advance the education of the children and young people who use the facilities and services of OaKley by providing them with opportunities for individual challenge and personal growth in an environment which values their independence and achievements. d) To advance education in and promote inclusive play for children and young people with additional support needs by sharing the knowledge and skills through training programmes.
