2. Structure, Governance and Management
Whitacres Wolves SCIO is governed by its constitution adopted in J8nuary2024 8nd
accepted as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation on 15 February 2024.
Trustees are elected atthe Annual General Meeting IAGMI. The Management
Committee met regularlythroughout the period and delegated somg tasks to
subgroups where necessary (funding. coaching. communications).
3. Charltable Purposes
In accordance with our constitution, our 8ims and objectives are:
To offer recreational and competitive opportunities in football to young people.
To promote the sport of footballwithin our local community.
To ensure a dutyof care to all members.
To ensure fair and equal treatment for all present and tuture members.
To create social activities for members as required.
4. Activities and Achievements in the perlod
Membershlp and Participation
We provided football sessions to around 300 children and young people aged 4-
15 throughout the period.
Age groups were supported from ouryoungest {2020s} through to our 2009
teams, with new 2021s starting training duringthe period.
We maintained a policy of inclusion and afford8bility. with pro-rated fees.

Coaching and Training
The club continued to rely on its dedicated volunteer coaches but also explored
bringing in more paid coaches to enhance player dev81opment.
We ensured all coaches held orwere working towards appropriate coaching
badges and PVG Ghecks.
We piloted the use of a professional coach across age groups and considered
adopting a coaching manual for session planning.
First aid kits and accident records were maintained to support health and safety.
Girls, and Inclusive Football
Saturday morning girts. sessions were introduced to allowyoungfemale players
to participate before league matches, supported initially bySYFAfunding.
Discussion5 continued about establishing deaf football sessions in partnership
with Glasgow Deaf, with volunteer speakers offeringto raise awareness among
coaches.
We worked to increase diversity and inclusion in our board and coachingteam to
strengihen future funding applications.
Faci(ities and Pitch Lets
We reviewed pitch usage and secured extensions of lets at Gowanbank and
Neilston to meet growing demand.
A 12-week trial of the Neilston pitch was undertaken for additional age groups.
We continued to engage with Glasgow City Council and other partners regarding
potential land acquisition for a dedicated community hub.
Evenis and Communlty Engagement
An Easter Camp was held from 7-11 April, open to all children Inotlust
Whit8cres Wolves members), supported bysponsorship from Scott Chaplain
and p8rents' contributions.
Fundraising events included a Rangers Found8tion lap run at Ibrox and
continued development of our newJustGiving page Ito secure Gift Aid on
donations).
We engaged with local electèd representatives, such as
other community groups to strengthen partnerships.

Fundralslng and Flnance
We raised significant funds through donations, including £2,000 from club
supporters and £1.000 from Barclays.
We began preparations for largerfunding bids (Glasgow Community Fund and
Area Partner Fundingi with an 88timated requirement of £20,000 and a webinar
attended in March.
We reviewed and updated ourfees structure, including pro-rating payments.

Governance and Communication
We added newtru5tees to strengthen the board and continued to fill key
positions such as Treasurer8nd Secretary.
We approved the creation of a Communications Officer role and agreed to
produce a regular n&wsletter for parents and carers.
We introduced the use ofWhatsApp and Zoom for board meetings and
introduced Microsoft 365 for administrative sUPPOrt.
5. Future Plans
Lookingahead, Whitacres Wolves SCIO intends to".
Secure sustainable funding streams to empLoy part-time staff to support
opewations.
Continue development of girls, and inclusive Ideafl football programmes.
Progress negotiations for land or facilities to establish 8 permanent community
sports hub.
Expand coaching capacity with paid coaches and structured training resources.
I mplement sibling discounts.
Strengthen our governance with a full comptement of board members to support
future funding 8pplic8tions.

statement with those records. 11 also includes conShderation of any unusual items or disclosures in
the accounts and seeks explanations from the trustees concerning any such malteTS.

1. Accounting policies
Basis ofAccounting
The accounts have been prepared on an income and expenditure basis and are in
accordance with the terms ofthe Charities and Tnjstee Investment IScot18ndl Act 2005
and the Charities Accounts (Scotlandl Regulations 2006.
Forthe purpose of the receipts and payments account shown on page 5. funds are
defined as:
Unr8strict8d Funds- comprise membership fees, grants, and donations received for
the objects of charity operation without f urther specified purpose and are available as
general funds.
Restrlcted Funds- comprise income which as been received forthe objects ofthe
charity and specified for a restricted purpose within these objects by the donor.
