REPORT OF THE MANAGEMENT COMMrrrEE
FOR THE PERIOD FROM lith JANUARY 2024 TO 31 MARCH 2025.
The Management Committee presents their Report and Accounts for the period ended
31 March 2025.
Constitution
The Charity i s a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation ( a SCIO).
It was registered in its current legal fonn on 15 January 2024. The charity was
previously an uninco￿orated association and has now changed its legal forn] to that
of a SCIO. The assets of the unincory)orated association were tranSfer￿d to the SCIO
on I" April 2025.
Objectives and Activities
The organisation's purposes are:
a) Promote the care and education of childcare in need of care during out of
school hours and holidays and to promote the provision of facilities for the
recreation and other leisure time occupation of such children in the interest of
social welfare with the object of improving their condition of life.
b) Advance the education and training of persons providing such care and
education and recreation facilities.
c) Enable Parents /Carers to be in employment or further education whilst their
hildren are in the care of the service.
The service is intended to be funded by charitable donations, fundraising and by
charges raised on participating parents.
Management and Governance Arrangements
The service is register¢d with Care Inspectorate Scotland for Carntyne service number
CS2025000149, for Haghill service number CS2025000150, Riddrie service number
CS2025000151 and Riverbank service number CS2025000152. These registrations
having been transferred on becoming a SCIO.
The constituted committee is administered by elected office bearers and
rcpresentatives of th¢ users of Connect 2 Out of School Care (SCIO).
Review of the Financial Position
The service. which will be funded as above has received initial financing by the
transfer of the net assets of the former charity Connect 2 Out of School Care Services.

Achievements and Performance of the Service
As an integral pari of local s¢rvices within the commiinity Nve will continually work with
othcr agcncies and individuals to PTomotc a complimentary pattern of efftctive relationships
tor the benefit of local people. We believe that through meaningfid and mutually beneficial
parniership ivorf(ing arrang¢m¢nts we will effectively contribut¢ to th¢ development of the
area and toward the achievement of social ¢hildcar¢ goals within Glasgoii.

I report on the accounts of the charity for the period ended 31 March 2025 which are set
out on pages 4 to 6.
Respective responsibilities of the Management Committee
The Ch￿ilV.5 trnstees arc rcsponstble for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with
the tcmis of the Cliarities and Trust¢¢ Investsncnt (Scotland) Act 2005 and thc Charitses
Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (as amended). The th￿itV tnL8tees consider that thc
audit requircment of Regulatioii 10(1) (a) to (c) of the 2U06 Accounts Regulations does not

Basis of independent examiner's statement
MIF e.Yamination is carried out in accordance ivith Rcgulation I l of the 2006 Accounts
Regiilations. An bxaniination includes a revieiv of the accouiiting records kept by the charity

l Accounting Policies
The accounts are prepared under the historical cost convention 2nd are in accordance
with applicable accounting standards, the Charities SORP 2005 (Accounting and
Reporting by Charities) and complv with the Charities and Trustee Investment
(Scotland) Act 2005 and the Charities A¢counts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (as
amended).
