We are set up to provide individualised support to families with young children in a confidential, compassionate and non-judgemental way. We do this by providing both staff and volunteer led family centered support at home and by developing and facilitating a range of activities developed on a needs identified basis. An extremely high level of training is provided for volunteers through the national Home-Start UK programme and also through our local tailored offer.

The organisation's purposes are: Home-Start Lomond has been formed to benefit families with young children in Helensburgh and Lomond, and West Dunbartonshire with the purposes listed in the sub clauses below, hereto ('the Purposes'), to be exercised following the principles of sustainable development (where sustainable development means development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs).
