The Portobello Youth Rugby Academy (PYRA) is a Scottish charity set up to promote and develop youth rugby in the Portobello and Eastern Edinburgh community. The charity aims to foster sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play while providing a safe and inclusive environment for the physical, mental, and social development of young players. We do this by coaching members in the rules of rugby, offering strength and nutrition training for a healthy lifestyle, and providing opportunities for young people to play the sport. To support these activities, we raise funds through donations and other means, and the trustees are responsible for the administration and management of the trust property. We also have the power to employ staff and engage consultants to help with our mission

Objectives: The Trustees shall hold and apply the sum of �1 paid by us to them, and such other funds and assets as may from time to time be comprised in the Trust Property, in trust for the following purposes:- a. To promote and develop public participation in the sport of rugby among the youth in the Portobello and Eastern Edinburgh community. b. To foster a spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play among the members. c. To provide opportunities for the physical, mental, and social development of young players. d. To ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
