BCDT is a community-led charity set up to help create a better Burntisland for everyone. We work with local people, community groups, organisations and partners to identify local needs and turn community ideas into practical projects and opportunities. Our work focuses on improving quality of life, strengthening community connections and creating a more inclusive, resilient and sustainable Burntisland. We support projects that benefit local people, encourage volunteering and participation, protect and celebrate our local environment and heritage, and create opportunities for people to come together. We achieve this by listening to the community, developing partnerships, securing funding and delivering projects that respond to local priorities. We aim to build on the strengths and resources already within Burntisland while creating opportunities for residents to shape and improve their community.

Objectives: The company has been formed to benefit the community of BURNTISLAND which comprises the area shown in 2 (p) (“the Community”) with the following object being: • The advancement of community development including the advancement of urban and rural regeneration. • The promotion of civic responsibility by reducing anti-social behaviour and social exclusion
