We are a small run parent council who organise fundraisers during the year to raise money to benefit our School. Our main events are Christmas and Spring fayres and our gift shop at Christmas ,Mother and Fathers day. Most of the money raised goes towards whole School and Nursery going to a Pantomime and Summer trip. We also provide a Food Larder with essential items for our families to take to help with the cost of living. We rely on donations from the big hoose project and we have had money from the Tesco green tokens so we can buy more essential household items. Our activities help bring the School and wider community together and help bring costs of trips down for our families.

Objectives: 1. The aims of the Kirkcaldy North Primary School Parent Council are: A) to raise and discuss matters of mutual interest relating to the education and welfare of pupils. B) to promote the role of the Parent Council to the Parent Forum in order to encourage optimum parent participation. C) to promote close co-operation and communication between parents and teachers. D) to promote equality and fairness E) to engage in activities which support and advance the education of pupils attending the school.
