Objectives and activities Charitable purposes 1. the advancement of religion, specifically the Christian faith. 2. the advancement of education. and 3. the advancement of citizenship or community development. Summary of the main activities in relation to these objects: Worship, ministry, mission, witness, prayer, fellowship, networking, discipling, education, training, community service and the provision of resources, activities, opportunities and facilities, with a view to children and young adults growing in their understanding and application of the Christian faith, and radiating the love of God and the good news of Jesus Christ in their daily lives. 2023124 Chair erson's Re At the start of this financial year, CYMP became a SCIO, and the name was officially changed to 'Radiate Cathcart" One of the differences in bèing a SCIO is that we have a membership, consisting of people who are keen to join ! As well as the Trustees who are members, we have a number of friends who have already joined. Over this past year, we have been working to ensure that our safeguarding practices are robust and that all the required policies are in place. Radiate Cathcart has a safeguarding panel and this group holds structured, regular meetings (roughly every 2 months) where any issues are discussed and the group also ensures steps are being taken to work towards compliance with all legislation. There have been so many encouragements over this past year as we see young people continue to have opportunities to have fun together, to share stories of what is going on in their lives, to explore the Bible and to grow and flourish in their faith. as continued to lead the ministry with incredible dedication. Her commitment to prayer; to sharing her love of the truths contained in the Bible and her continual encouragement of all young people to "shine like stars" continues to be an inspiration and we are so thankful for her and her family. We are extremely grateful for all the support over this past year from the partner churches in Cathcart the financial, prayerful and practical support by which Radiate Cathcart would not be able to do what it does. We are also very grateful to all the "Friends of Radiate" who faithfully give on a regular basis, and for the volunteers who give of their time and energy to show the love of Jesus with such enthusiasm and it continues to be such a blessing to share in this ministry together, as all different ages work together across the denominations! Thank you to our student attachment for his enthusiastic commitment to serving with Radiate Cathcart as part of his studies and to Cara for her huge support and encouragement as he works towards his theology and youth degree. We continue to trust God to provide all that we need to serve our young people and their families within our churches and local community and pray that more and more people of all ages will know and experience God's love for themselves and allow that love to transform their lives.. .and that they too would shine bright wherever they go. 2023124 Treasurer's Re Radiate Cathcart's accounts for the financial year to the end of November 2024 are in line with the trustees, projections, showing a healthy surplus for the year of £32,537. This is mainly accounted for by delays in filling the part time youth worker post, vacant since February 2022, along with grants to fund the post received in advance. There were also increases from the previous year in donation and fund- raising income which were most welcome.

The transfer of assets (there were no liabilities!) from Cathcart Youth Ministry Partnership to the present SCIO (Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation) occurred seamlessly at the start of this financial year, and the accounts presented here combine the two charities, figures. Responsible financial stewardship is a priority for the trustees who consider management accounts. showing the current position and future financial year projections at every management meeting. As well as their financial contributions, the church partners continue to provide the essential resource base of prayer, interest and volunteers which allows this ministry to continue to make an impact for young people in our community and in the local churches. Independent Examiner's Report to the Trustees of Radiate Cathcart SC052939 I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 30 November 2024 which are set out on pages I to 5. Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the ternis of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. The charity trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10(1) (d) of the 2006 Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 44(1) (c) of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent examiner's statement 11 My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation I l of the 2006 Accounts Regulations. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeks explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts. Independent examiner's statement In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention . which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements: • to keep accounting records in accordance with Section 44(1) (a) of the 2005 Act and Regulation 4 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations • to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with Regulation 9 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations have not been met, or 2. to which, in my opinion. attention should bè drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
