Objectives: The trustees shall hold the trust fund and its income upon trust to apply them for the following objects ('the objects') The Trust will administer a mentoring scheme to support early career journalists. This mentoring scheme will be selective based on an application process. It will further present Masterclasses to promote education and career development in journalism. The Trust's charitable purposes are for the public benefit to: 1.1 promote social inclusion by relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society. 1.2 advance education in journalism through, in particular, the provision of training, mentoring and/or developmental support in the field of journalism to early-career journalists and young people who are socially excluded based in Scotland, England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
