**What the charity does:** Balfron High School Parent Council is set up to do the following. - Support Balfron High School in its work with pupils, - Promote partnership through the active participation of parents, - Lead Parent Forum participation - Act as a communication conduit between school management, parents, pupils and community.  This is achieved through a series of meetings each year, bringing together representatives of the Parent Council, school management, parents and pupils. The Parent Council also undertake a range of fund raising activities, with the funds raised used to make grants to support specific requests from the school.

**Objectives:** The Aims of the Parent Council: _ To support the school in its work with pupils _ To promote partnership by parents own active participation _ To lead Parent Forum participation _ To act as a communication conduit between school management, parents, pupils and community
