Summary ot the main achlevements of FOSC exists to promote Strathaven CastFe as an iconic symtd of
th8 charity durlng the flnancial p8riod
the town and to campaign for its long-temi security. We have been
engaging with various, appropriate organisations to raise
awareness of our group and identi
ro
ects to support the castle.
The depute chair met with
South Lanarkshire
Counal (SLC) at the castte on the 19th of June. The purpose of our
meeting was to talk about the castle ste

A￿hoUgh nut in place yet, ongoing Costs sud) as insurance etc will be
minimal. We hope to generate funds through a FOSC Menbership
scheme and sale of mèrchandise. We have no funds or reserves, but
when funds have been secured, we ￿11 be able to operate with fiscal
confidence. We would not undertake projects prior lo grant funding being
obtained.
