Creative Edinburgh is Scotland’s largest network supporting creative practitioners, artists, makers, and freelancers, representing a vibrant community of more than 7000 members across the capital. We are a not-for-profit, registered charity and a membership organisation that is free to join. Passionate about welcoming everyone, we provide inclusive opportunities for all creatives to connect, grow, and thrive.

Beneficiaries: 'No specific group, or for the benefit of the community'

Objectives: 4.1. the advancement of the arts and culture. in particular, through activities including, but not limited to: i) supporting creative careers, social capital and pipelines into the arts, culture and creative industries. ii) actively encouraging collaboration between all sectors of the arts, culture and creative industries across Edinburgh, the Lothians, Scotland and beyond. iii) raising the profile of the creative industries in the foregoing areas to other organisations and agencies. iv) providing information, support and networking opportunities for those working in the creative industries. v) promoting and encouraging the use of innovation in the creative industries across Edinburgh, the Lothians, Scotland and beyond. vi) offering a platform for artists, practitioners and other creative professionals to showcase their work. vii) hosting public and industry facing events at which artists and creative practitioners speak, take part in debates, network and engage in discussions around the arts, culture and creative industries. and 4.2. the advancement of education. in particular, through: i) arranging and/or promoting educational events and knowledge sharing and skills development courses for those working in the creative industries. ii) offering mentoring services to those in the creative industries.
