Provide the facilities required for water sports, activities to take place. Our facilities can accommodate activities for a wide age range, from children to families of mixed ages and members who have retired. Facilities provided Club House A concrete Slipway Boat and Trailer storage onshore in the Boat yard. Car parking – Day and overnight Work with The Crown Estates to manage licences for placing a mooring on the seabed. Provide opportunities for members who don’t own a boat. Provide the opportunity for Members that own Boats, Kakaks, Paddleboards to take part in water sports, in noncompetitive, ways. Organise and run a comprehensive Yacht and Dingy racing Calendar. Host events and Regattas Loan Equipment Organise Social events. The Club is an Affiliated member of the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Arrange Land-based training courses for relevant skills. The Club is an approved Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Training Centre.
Objectives: The Club's purposes are: To encourage and facilitate community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of facilities for water sports. To provide social and other facilities for members and other community organisations as may be from time to time appropriate. In furthering these purposes, the Club will also seek to Promote safety when boating, Encourage and promote good sportsmanship in the sport of boating Promote respect and care of the marine environment.
