**Purposes:** 'the prevention or relief of poverty','the advancement of citizenship or community development','the promotion of equality and diversity','the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage'

**What the charity does:** We contribute towards building a more democratic and participatory society based on the values of care, solidarity and social justice, we achieve this by facilitating a daily drop in where the community can access practical support on any relevant issues. We organise campaigns focusing on women's issues and anti racism, involving the whole community in events and workshops on these issues as well as organising ESOL classes for New Scots. To challenge poverty and the overall climate issue we have organised a community pantry, giving low cost access to food and we also facilitate a school uniform bank twice per year. We convene on a regular basis a meeting of the agencies and organisations that work in Drumchapel to facilitate partnership work and share experience.

**Objectives:** The charitable purposes of G15 Thriving Places are:  a) The prevention and relief of poverty  b) The advancement of citizenship and community development  c) Promotion of equality and diversity  d) The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
