We are a group of people that have come together to improve the local green space for our community. We have held a number of fundraising evens including a fun day for the whole community. We have managed to acquire enough funding to completely transform the play park area of the space and start some community planting. We are now moving on to the next phase of our project which is to make the area more accessible for everyone in the community by relaying the paths. We also want to add more seating to the surrounding area so that people have somewhere comfortable to sit while using the park or allow families to have picnics. We are therefore starting to look at what grants are available to us and what our next fundraising event can be.
