Orbost Community Trust SCIO (“OCT’)
During the year, the OCT continued with activities designed to protect and enhance the local environment around Orbost, in line with its charter. Activities included clearing the public footpath to the Macleod Tables and clearing debris from the beach.
The OCT set up a bank account with the Royal Bank Of Scotland on March 11, 2025. Prior to that date, the Trust had no income nor expenditure. The bank paid £750 into the account as compensation for delayed opening. Donations of £1,000 were also received by year end. There was no expenditure in the year, leaving a closing balance at 30 June, 2025 of £1,750.
