**What the charity does:** We raise money every year to provide or repair festive lights for the town of Oban. We apply for donations to Companies & run local events.

**Objectives:** The organisation's purposes are for the advancement of citizenship and community development for the people of Oban and surrounding area by:  (a) Providing, purchasing, maintaining,installing, removing and storing festive lights on an annual basis for public benefit.  (b) Advancing community development by working with third sector community organisations, private businesses, and the public to promote participation and encourage volunteering in fundraising activities to deliver and develop the scope of Oban Festive Lights.  (c) The provision of recreational facilities or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended.
